Cash Keeper

Job Summary of Cash Keeper:

As a Cash Keeper at Big 5, you will be in charge of monitoring the front counter register, handling cash transactions, and bagging merchandise. Your duties will also consist of welcoming customers, answering phone calls, stocking shelves, and keeping the displayed products organized on the sales floor. Your responsibility is to ensure that every customer has a pleasant shopping experience.

Responsibilities for Cash Keeper:

• Effectively process transactions by scanning items with precision.
• Ensure the checkout area is neat and organized.
• Correctly carry out sales transactions, returns, and exchanges by means of the point of sale (POS) system.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and supervisors to successfully reach store sales goals.
• Cultivate a welcoming environment by greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
