Supervision Exercised:
Supervision of ushers, security, ticket takers and parking attendants during events.
General Statement of Duties:
Training, scheduling, evaluating and maintaining parking and guest services and other duties as assigned.
Areas of Responsibilities:Train and instruct employees.Prepare facility for opening and closing during events in the absence of Co-Event Services Manager or Assistant General ManagerSchedule workers.Monitor activity during events.Enforce rules.Respond to emergencies.Serve as liaison to Assistant General Manager.Emphasis on parking services. Understanding of parking and traffic procedures.Develop and implement-parking program for all guests.Insure financial accountability and maximization of parking revenues.Oversee parking lot cleanliness and maintenance.Serve as liaison for all parking related questions and concerns.Prepare replies to public correspondence with patrons.Other Duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Primary focus will be on the Event Services Department and assisting the Operations Department on a as needed basis. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The employee should also have the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; orOne to two years experience and/or training; orEquivalent combination of education and experience.Individual must be able to function with minimum supervision, handle complaints, investigate incidents and write reports.Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.Individual must react well under pressure and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and resolves problems in a timely manner.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
