Job Summary of Cash Handling Clerk:

As a Cash Handling Clerk at Big 5, you'll: Be responsible for overseeing the front counter POS (register) terminal; Perform cash handling and bagging of purchased merchandise; Greet customers, answer telephones, and stock shelves; Clean and maintain displayed merchandise on the sales floor; Be responsible for ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for all customers.

Responsibilities for Cash Handling Clerk:

• Accurately and promptly process purchases through scanning.
• Preserve cleanliness and order in the checkout zone.
• Skillfully execute sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges by employing the point of sale (POS) system.
• Engage in teamwork with fellow employees and leadership to meet and exceed sales objectives.
• Welcome patrons warmly and with professionalism to create a pleasant and engaging shopping encounter.
