Cash Handler

Job Summary of Cash Handler:

As a Cash Handler at Big 5, your duties will include supervising the front counter point of sale (register) terminal, handling cash, and packing bought items. You will also greet customers, respond to phone calls, and replenish shelves, as well as tidy and manage the showcased products on the selling floor. Ensuring a positive shopping encounter for all customers is part of your responsibilities in this role.

Responsibilities for Cash Handler:

• Scan and process purchases accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area.
• Accurately process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges using the point of sale (POS) system.
• Work collaboratively with team members and management to achieve store sales goals.
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
