Job Summary of Cashier Clerk:

Being a Cashier Clerk at Big 5 entails overseeing the front counter point of sale (register) terminal, conducting cash transactions, and packaging purchased goods. You will greet customers, field phone calls, replenish shelves, and maintain the appearance of merchandise on the sales floor. Providing a positive shopping atmosphere for all customers is a key aspect of your role.

Responsibilities for Cashier Clerk:

• Scan and process purchases accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area.
• Accurately process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges using the point of sale (POS) system.
