Job Summary of Cash Register Operator:

As a Retail Cash Register Operator at Big 5, your tasks will involve overseeing the front counter point of sale (register) terminal, processing cash transactions, and bagging items that are purchased. Acknowledging customers, addressing phone calls, and restocking shelves are also part of your responsibilities, along with maintaining the presentation of merchandise on the sales floor. Your role includes ensuring that all customers have an enjoyable shopping experience.

Responsibilities for Cash Register Operator:

• Scan and process purchases accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area.
• Accurately process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges using the point of sale (POS) system.
• Work collaboratively with team members and management to achieve store sales goals.
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
